NORDIC PAVILION, IN THERAPY EXHIBITION, VENICE BIENNALE, ITALY, 2016
At the annual art exhibition held in Italy, the Nordic Pavilion stood out for its inviting comment on the theme of belonging. Mirroring the adjacent public spaces, Norwegian Sverre Fehn designed the installation out of typical Scandinavian pine. As an overarching parallel or comment on Maslow's pyramidal hierarchy of needs, it is a gathering space for visitors to rest, convene, debate and observe.
